  • Local rail services (2nd class) and S-Bahn suburban rail services (2nd class),
  • Long-distance rail services (2nd class) between Rostock Hbf (main train station) and Stralsund Hbf (main train station),
  • City and regional bus services (not including long-distance bus services),
  • Dial-a-bus services e.g. NAHBUS, VLP and REBUS (at capacity) plus service surcharges,
  • Tram services, U-Bahn services, selected other services, such as Warnow ferry services in Rostock and Warnemünde

Senior citizens whose primary residence is not in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and/or who have not yet reached the age threshold of 65 years.

Travel accompanied by other passengers, a bicycle or a dog with the D-Ticket is not possible

How much does the ticket cost?

Which payment options are available?

The price of the ticket is collected from the specified account via SEPA direct debit.

The subscription can be cancelled on a monthly basis. Cancellation must take place by the 10th of a month to the end of the relevant calendar month.

What is not covered by the ticket?
  • Travel on ICE, IC or EC trains (except those travelling between Rostock Hbf (main station) and Stralsund Hbf (main station))
  • Travel accompanied by a bicycle free of charge
  • Long-distance bus travel

When can you cancel the ticket?

The subscription can be cancelled on a monthly basis. Cancellation must be received by the subscription office of Verkehrsverbund Warnow by the 10th of a month to ensure that the subscription is cancelled at the end of the relevant calendar month.

Deutschlandticket fare regulations

  • New registered users will then get an email they need to confirm and can then log in

4. Personal details

  • Make sure everything is spelled correctly and the fields are completed as intended.
  • Please enter all details of the person entering into the contract – note some fields must be completed and cannot be left blank.
  • The person entering into the contract and the subscription user may differ – for instance, a family member can also sign up for and manage the subscription for a senior citizen.
  • A different account holder can also be specified.
  • It is essential to ensure that all IBAN numbers have been entered correctly and consent to the SEPA procedure.
