For whom is the ticket valid?
The Deutschlandticket for apprentices in MV is valid for:
Pupils who are enrolled in state-recognised training to acquire a qualified vocational qualification at a vocational training school listed in the school list of the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern or who are completing training at a vocational school outside of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern on the basis of Article 46, paragraph 3 of the School Act for the state of Mecklenburg-VorpommernSchulG M-V.
These include:
- Vocational schools: Part-time vocational schools in the context of dual training
- Vocational training schools, e.g. childcare, nursing and elderly care assistance,
- Higher vocational training schools, both part-time and full-time: e.g., health care professions, social assistance, state-recognised nursery school teacher,
- Specialist training schools, both part-time and full-time: e.g. state-recognised nursery school teacher, special educational needs teaching, state-certified agricultural business economist, state-certified business economist, ship operating technology, officer, captain, ship engineer, state-certified technician

- Apprenticesenrolled in state-recognised training leading to a qualified vocational qualification at a training facility in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, but completing the school-based portion of their training outside of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern,
- Apprentices in accompanying in-company training (bbA) to become a skilled practitioner, assistant, or worker pursuant to Article 66 of the Vocational Training Act [Berufsbildungsgesetz] and/or Article 42r of the Crafts Code [Handwerksordnung],
- Apprentices in vocational training at an external institution (BaE) pursuant to Article 76 of the Social Code [SGB] III,
- Voluntary service participants (federal and youth voluntary services) in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and
- Civil service candidates in preparatory service in Category I with a place of work in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

You can order your Deutschlandticket for apprentices in MV as a monthly subscription on your smartphone. However, you will need to upload some documents as proof of entitlement first.
As the person entitled to the D-Ticket for apprentices in MV, you will be charged nur 43 Euro per month. The state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern covers the other EUR 20 for you.
The Deutschlandticket for apprentices in MV is non-transferable and does not entitle you to travel accompanied by passengers older than six. Furthermore, it’s not just valid throughout all of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. It is also valid throughout Germany on all local public transport services .

Where is the ticket valid?
The Deutschlandticket is valid throughout Germany on the following services:
- Local rail services (2nd class) and S-Bahn suburban rail services (2nd class),
- Long-distance rail services (2nd class) between Rostock Hbf (main train station) and Stralsund Hbf (main train station),
City and regional bus services (not including long-distance bus services), - Dial-a-bus services e.g. NAHBUS, VLP and REBUS (at capacity) plus service surcharges,
- Tram services,
- Selected other services
What do I need to purchase the ticket?
For your order you will need the following documents:
- Proof of eligibility including validity period,
- Identification document (front of your ID card, driving licence or passport).
What information must my proof of eligibility contain?
The minimum requirements for your proof of eligibility depend on your eligibility group (trainees, voluntary service providers and civil service candidates).
The following minimum requirements apply:
For apprentices (school certification):
- Name of vocational school
- Name of apprentice
- Course of education/training profession or desired qualification
- Start and planned end date of apprenticeship
- Stamp and signature of vocational school
You will be an apprentice in your first year and your vocational school is still closed?
Your options are as follows:
a) For a professional apprenticeship, you can complete the form(download apprentice proof of entitlement)and have it stamped by your relevant chamber (e.g. Chamber of Crafts, Chamber of Industry and Commerce, etc.) and upload it in the order process.
b) For a full-time school apprenticeship, you can complete the form(download apprentice proof of entitlement)and send it by email to: f.buchholz@bm.mv-regierung.de . The form will then be returned to you with a stamp, and you can upload it during the order process.

Apprenticeswith a training position in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, whose vocational school is located outside Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, require a chamber certificate as proof of entitlement (available from the responsible Chamber of Crafts, Chamber of Industry and Commerce, etc.), which provides evidence of the training position in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, the desired qualification and the expected duration of the training.

What should I keep in mind?
Please note that you must order your ticket for the relevant validity period by the 25th of the previous month as we still need to check all the evidence first.
The ticket is personal and non-transferable.
It is valid for a maximum of 12 months and shall be extended on presentation of relevant proof of entitlement.
The ticket is exclusively available as a mobile ticket in the VVW app.
EUR 60 shall be due in the event of unauthorised use.
The Deutschlandticket for apprentices in MV is a Germany-wide fare. The terms and conditions of carriage for the Deutschlandticket apply, as do the relevant terms and conditions of carriage or fare regulations of the relevant transport company used.

For whom is the ticket not valid?
- Students at public, state-approved general education schools
- Students at state-recognised private general education schools
- Pupils at specialist high schools and secondary schools and evening high schools
- Students and
- pupils in the vocational preparatory year who are entitled to reimbursement of travel expenses by the Employment Agency or pupil transportation in accordance with Article 113 of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern School Act [SchulG M-V].
- Students retraining from the field of continuing vocational education – this is classified as adult and continuing education.
How much does the ticket cost?

Which payment options are available?
The price of the ticket is collected from the specified account via SEPA direct debit.
What is not covered by the ticket?
- Travel on ICE, IC or EC trains (except those travelling between Rostock and Stralsund)
- Travel accompanied by a bicycle free of charge
- Long-distance bus travel
- Travel accompanied by other passengers free of charge (from age six
- In spa towns and holiday regions, the regulations of the local spa area statutes must be observed.
When can I cancel the ticket?
The subscription can be cancelled on a monthly basis. Cancellation must take place by the 10th of a month to the end of the relevant calendar month.
What are the technical requirements?
The Deutschlandticket for apprentices in MV is only issued digitally via the VVW app. You’ll find information on the technical requirements in the app store
